Corn Maze at Shelby Farms

When we were at the cotton field at Shelby Farms, right beside it was a corn maze. So, we decided to explore the maze. It was so dusty! We were covered up in dust, but it was alot of fun. Dawson had a blast, as always! Parker did great in the stroller. He was very content just riding through the maze. It was cute!During the maze, there were trivia questions stationed throughout the maze.  Depending on your answer was how you were going in the right direction, that was fun! Most of them were about agriculture, so Michael knew most of the answers, which was great. After the maze, we went to get ice cream as requested by Dawson. It was a fun day with the boys! It's Fall!!! Horray!!

BUZZ Lightyear



Thank goodness it is Fall! I am so happy b/c it is my favorite time of year. I love looking at the changing leaves and walking outside during this beautiful weather. It is so nice to be able to leave your door open and let some fresh air come inside. The boys live outside these days!! Dawson is so excited about Halloween this year. This is the first year he is really into it. He picked out his own costume! He is going to be Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story! Parker is going to be a green dinosaur from Toy Story. Dawson wanted him to be Woody but I couldn't find a costume smaller enough for him so we settled for the dino. We are ready for fall and Halloween! Michael's Birthday!!!

Michael turned the big 3-5 on October 4th so we had a big celebration for him. He came home from work with lots of balloons, cupcakes, and lots of presents. Dawson had fun decorating for him. He loves his Daddy so much! Every morning when Dawson wakes up, he walks downstairs and says "Where is Daddy?" I usually say "Good Morning, Dawson!" but he always says "Where is Daddy?" He really doesn't care about me these days! He is too funny! We wave to Daddy every morning before he leaves for work. The boys just adore him! Cotton Fun!!!

Michael, the boys and I took a drive out to Shelby Farms to the beautiful cotton field on a gorgeous afternoon and took lots of cute pictures of the boys. Dawson loved running through the field, and Parker would rather just hang out in the grass. He kept getting stuck in the cotton and was getting a little upset about it. It was cute, though. The weather was just perfect! Here are a few pictures from the field...

Parker was a little unhappy about walking in the field, and Dawson was trying to console him. It was the sweetest thing!

Labor Day fun at the Farm

Hello everyone!! Well, last month we took a trip to the farm for Labor Day weekend. The boys had a great time! Dawson loved riding the golf carts, tractors, and 4-wheelers.
