January flying by

Well, this month is flying by just like every month these days. Parker turned 19 months on Jan. 3rd. Some fun facts about Parker-
He LOVES to...
-eat and try any new food
-play with Dawson
-plays with "Jack"
-climbs on EVERYTHING *we had to move all our kitchen chairs to the living room and bar stools to the attic and all the furniture is on rubber tabs so he want move it
-throw balls and play catch
-play in the snow
-dance to music and clap hands to music
-look at books
-give kisses and hugs
-wave bye-bye
-drinking out of a straw now
-make the biggest MESS
-go to school at Germantown Baptist *He loves his teachers!
Parker is 31 inches tall and weighs 27 pounds. He is growing up so big and strong! We love you Parker!

19 months and growing up

We got about 6 to 8 inches of snow on Jan. 10th. The boys woke up about 6:15 am and wanted to go play outside in the beautiful snow covered ground. It was almost like Christmas morning! They were so excited! Dawson missed school b/c of the snow, so we headed down to our neighbors house and played with Airey, Keaton, and Campbell. They had some fun sleds! We made a snowman and huge snowball. The snow lasted for about a week. Hopefully, we will get another BIG snow soon. It was a very fun day for everyone to enjoy! It's Christmas!!

Hello everyone!! Well, we had a WONDERFUL Christmas this year. It was everything we ever wanted in a family Christmas! =) Noelle and Chris arrived on Dec. 23rd and Uncle Greg and Mimi came up on the 24th. It was fun to have both sides of family together to celebrate this wonderful time of year. Dawson was really excited to see Uncle Chris and Aunt Noelle, it has been a long time since he saw them last May. I am so glad they could come this year. On Christmas Eve, we went to church, and it was fun seeing Dawson participating in the Christmas program. Afterwards, we went to The Finney's house to have a fabulous dinner. It was so good! It was nice to see everyone again too! The Finney's know how to have a fabulous dinner and party! Dawson had a fun time playing with the train set, he was hoping Santa would leave a train set for him. Parker was wiped out from the day, so he stayed with Miss Heather while we went to dinner. After dinner, we needed to help Santa prepare for his big day. The elves were busy preparing cookies and milk, loading the stockings, and setting up toys in every space. Christmas morning....

It was amazing! The boys sleep until 8 am on Christmas morning! We heard Dawson coming down the stairs. His face was full of excitement! Parker didn't know what to think about all the toys. He was a little scared by it all, a bit overwhelmed. The boys had a great time looking into their Santa bags. They loved all the surprises Santa left by the chimney. Our families came over to enjoy a wonderful brunch and see all the goodies Santa left. It was a wonderful morning! Later, we went over to Gigi's and PoPaw's and opened up more presents and had fabulous appetizers along with a wonderful dinner prepared by Gigi and Aunt Noelle. They are wonderful cooks!
